This acoustic bilingual track was started solo in Chicago in the Spring of 2021 as a song about missing a then close friend who had become distant

The journey then took me to Madrid in the Fall of 2021 where the vocals and guitar were tracked and footage for the accompanying video ( Available on YouTube) www.youtube.com/watch?v=4D6hGZWR2cg was filmed.
And finally the trumpet was recorded back in Chicago July of 2022.

The vibe is one of longing and has a retro and nostalgic feel

I hope you enjoy this heartfelt piece

It is part of my "Fly, Mariposa, Sketches" collection of songs written at the same time.
