This acoustic bilingual track was started solo in Chicago in the Spring of 2021.

The journey then took me to Madrid in the Fall of 2021 where the vocals and guitar were tracked and footage for the accompanying video were filmed.
And finally the trumpet was recorded back in Chicago July of 2022.

Truly a song that embodies the concept of Ida y Vuelta...to go and return, not just in the lyrics, but in being recorded in two cities over time :)

The vibe is one of longing and has a retro and nostalgic feel punctuated by the smooth jazz trumpet of Sadboiii.
